Botanical Gardens

I recently went to the Botanical Gardens in DC. It's a museum of living plants from all over the world. Founded in 1830, it's the oldest botanic garden in North America! Interestingly enough, I encountered many flowers and plants that I was originally inspired to draw. Take a look:

  1. Wow! I love how you put your drawings side-by-side with the flowers of inspiration. The Lily is one of my faves of yours, and it's so cool to see it next to a photo of one.

  2. I agree that placing them side by side gave great meaning to the pieces. I lived in D.C. when I was MUCH younger and did not go there. After reading your piece, I wish I did.

  4. This is so gorgeous :))) I really admire you :)
I also make jewelry, but it's quite amateurish compared to yours :)
